ECCO-SALT Salt slag recycling

The salt slags recycling process is based on THREE objectives:

• COMPLETE SEPARATION OF COMPOUNDS:
  • Metallic Aluminium
  • Salt (mix of sodium and potassium chloride)
  • Oxides

• INERTIZATION of the reactive compounds:
  • Forcing the reaction of them in a controlled manner
  • Elimination of gases generated by incineration

• VALORIZATION of the products obtained
  • Both metallic aluminum and salt return as products to the refinery
  • Metal oxides are treated to reduce the chloride content so that they are suitable for commercialization and therefore be considered as a product

Thus, from a DANGEROUS WASTE we get three VALORIZABLE PRODUCTS
