Billets casting plant for extrusion

HORMESA is specialized in the design and manufacture of aluminium billet casting plants for the extrusion sector. We offer both vertical downwards casting systems (“hot-top” system) and horizontal continuous casting.

We have designed compact plants to process very small amounts of scrap from the extrusion process (cuttings, profiles, billet pieces…) to provide added value to these high-quality materials / waste.

Depending on the starting material, the quantities and the flexibility needs, we can offer you customized solutions with our wide line of furnaces (gas reverberatory, induction, crucible …), casting processes (horizontal and vertical) and equipment for treating, filtering, homogenizing and transporting aluminium.
